Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) certify the energy efficiency of a property using a rating system from A to G, with A being the most efficient. A Domestic EPC is derived from standard information about the energy efficiency levels and carbon emissions of a building compared to a benchmark. Our domestic EPCs come with a recommendation report outlining improvements to upgrade the energy rating. These certificates are valid for 10 years or until a newer version is produced.
Who Needs a Domestic EPC?
If you’re planning to sell, rent, or build a domestic property, you need a Domestic EPC. This applies to:
- Homeowners selling their property.
- Landlords renting out their property.
- Builders constructing new homes.
